Wild For Salmon is owned and operated by Steve and Jenn Kurian, a fishing family who have spent over 20 years fishing in Bristol Bay each year. In addition to respecting the seasonality of the sockeye salmon that first captured their hearts in 2002, the two spend the rest of the year ensuring folks all across the US have access to affordable wild seafood through their national Direct to Door delivery program.
While the sockeye salmon fishing season is only two months of the year, the other 10 months are spent collaborating with their network of fishermen friends, each providing fisherman-direct wild seafood from their personal communities. Wild For Salmon partners with conservation organizations like Trout Unlimited Alaska in order to support their Save Bristol Bay efforts, keeping hard rock mines out of Bristol Bay and protect its fragile ecosystem forever. In addition to providing countless recipes for their customer base, Wild For Salmon also writes blogs and fishing season updates each year, so customers can follow along with the exact journey of their salmon and hear from the fishery's lead biologists on that season's salmon return and fishing regulations.
