We are a family of fishermen, who have made a promise to handle our fishers sustainably, and our fish with care. My cousin and I grew up fishing together and eating trout around a campfire with our family, now we want to bring that same care and passion to local plates. We will be using very sustainable fishing methods, and dispatching our fish using Shinkei-Jime, so that we have only the highest quality of fish when we get back in to the dock. We plan on selling the best fish at affordable prices, and donating to give back to the eco-system that has blessed our family so much.

About Rock Bottom Fish Co
We are a family who has been fishing together since we were children, and are now ready to step into the commercial space to bring our passion to local plates. Our focus is sustainable fishing practices, and delivering a quality product by carefully handling our catch to ensure the highest quality. We will be dispatching all fish using the traditional Japanese method called ‘Shinkei-Jime’. This method, paired with our unique transportation process is what sets our fish apart from other operations. Each fish will be Shinkei-Jime'd, and then put into a salt water circulation tank to bleed. Directly following the bleeding process, they are emersed into an ice slurry and transported from there straight into your hands. Our catches are never frozen by the time they hit your plate. A truly rare occurrence in the seafood industry.
