The reason we started farming oysters is that we care deeply about Maine’s working waterfront communities and the health of the coastal resources they depend upon. We don’t just want to see those communities persist; we want to help them to thrive. Farming oysters provides our families an opportunity to remain living and working locally on the water. We take great pride in producing the highest quality oysters we can and we take great care in building relationships with the fishermen and harvesters we work with to help retail and wholesale their catches.

Flavor Profile
Nurtured in the rolling waters of pristine Mere Point, Maquoit and Middle Bays, our oysters embody the essence of Maine’s coastal waters. Their crisp, firm meat is complemented by a pronounced salinity and a clean, bright finish. From nursery to harvest, they thrive in these nutrient-rich bays, where large tidal exchanges deliver a diverse array of phytoplankton that promote healthy growth. The colder waters further enhance their shell strength and yield plump, succulent meats. Meticulously handled through multiple tumbler sessions and hand selection, our oysters emerge with strong, beautiful shells, exceptional durability, and a signature Maine brininess.
