Wild Source Salmon relates with LocalCatch's Core Values by providing the local community with a sustainable source of sockeye salmon from Bristol Bay, Alaska through a direct connection with the fishermen. We offer salmon at a dockside price by bypassing the seafood supply chain. Through our website and social media channels, we aim to provide information and education on sustainable fisheries, indigenous salmon cultures and fishermen families in rural Alaska. We have a local buyers club that offers a discounted price for pre-sales before we fish each summer and provide updates so that our customers have full transparency in the process of our fish from the deck of the boat to their dish. We provide information on Bristol Bay, AK and what makes it a unique and precious national resource that is a glimmering example of how healthy and fully intact ecosystems operate.
