We work using advice from the total community toward sustainability and opportunity for those in the community. Recently it has come to our attention there is a large opportunity in an inland yellow perch fishery in our state and see this opportunity as an extension of what we do now in the marine . This fishery, along with black crappie and northern pike, are utterly untapped while a ready market exists outside Maine. We see the resource as a great opportunity to enhance the opportunity for income for our fisherfolk and local economies. Our product will be fully traceable from catch area and harvester to ultimate destination from trucking to wholesalers. Freshness, high quality, sustainable harvest and local community are our focus along with fair prices and open access to local harvesters.
