Brett has been a fisherman in Newport for over 7 years. We bought our boat (F/V Jo El) in 2018 from a local fisherman who had owned it for over 30 years. Brett has learned the most ethical, clean and safe fishing and fish processing techniques from lifetime fishermen. We are proud to be hook and line fishing in Oregon, which has some of the most sustainable wild fisheries in the world. Our home and boat are in the Newport area and we are dedicated to making our living as part of this fishing community for the rest of our lives. We continually collaborate with other local fishing families and restaurants to showcase our catches. We participate in West Coast fisheries year round and hire deckhands from within Newport's fishing community. We make our living from the Ocean so showing respect for Her power and protecting Her health are our highest priorities. We are proud of our traceable and simple supply chain - you will be buying our fish directly from our boat on which it was caught!
