Fox Point Oysters raises healthy oysters in a licensed area and operates under strict licensing and harvest regulations put forth by several state agencies including NH Fish & Game, NH DES and NH DHHS. Oysters are raised in bags, cages and 'free-range' on the ground and are cleaned, gently tumbled and harvested by hand using gentle methods that keep the oysters happy and safely feeding from the waters on Little Bay. Each oyster is hand selected and quickly scrubbed before bagging and icing prior to delivery. Oysters are harvested same day when possible and delivered within hours of harvest. Fox Point Oysters partners with reputable restaurants, wholesalers and retailers that keep the oysters safe and cold until sale and deliver to a diversity of areas in southern NH. Laura Brown (owner) began raising oysters in large part for the positive ecological benefits oysters have on their environment.
