Oyster farming is inherently low impact on the environment, and in fact the addition of oysters into bays and waterways has been show to help improve the water quality in those areas. No feed, freshwater, antibiotics or fertilizers are used, so in that sense, Emily's Oysters serves the marine environment while also growing a premium product. Emily's Oysters rarely operates through a dealer or middle man, so you know you're getting just about the freshest oyster around!

About Emily's Oysters
Emily's Oysters is a small-scale sea farm located on Casco Bay that focuses on growing premium quality oysters using the most sustainable means possible. Emily's Oysters is woman-owned and operated by me, Emily Selinger, a local Maine native with extensive maritime and commercial fishing experience. I offer my high-quality oysters through direct home delivery to the local area on Fridays, or at the Bath and Portland farmer's markets, and I also have a community supported oyster farm share program.
