About Duna Fisheries

We wholesale our Southeast Alaska troll caught (H&G/FAS) Chinook and Coho salmon in the Seattle area to restaurants and markets. Salmon from Duna Fisheries are caught one at a time on hook and line fishing gear using a technique known as trolling. Your fishermen - Amy Grondin and Greg Friedrichs – carefully handle each fish, assuring you the best quality of salmon available. Within 45 minutes of being caught, each salmon is cleaned, pressure bled with sea water, and frozen to -40F in the hold of our 48-foot wooden fishing boat, F/V Arminta. We are excited for you to taste Alaska in each
bite of our salmon.

At Duna Fisheries we believe that if we take from a resource we also need to give back to it. Simply put, part of the year we are catching salmon and the other part of the year we are working to make sure salmon survive for generations to come. That includes advocating for the fish while protecting and restoring the habitat they need to complete their lifecycle.
